Shabby chic card

Using the theme of shabby chic I had to work backwards to design my card as

 I knew that I wanted to use the Bird emblies and the Tim Holtz Birdcage die. 

I found these lovely papers in an old Making Cards Special so I choose the 

floral backing papers and then the cream backing and the red border. 

I worked out the sizes I needed and cut, layered and mounted them to get this 

The next stage was to add some fancy bits and pieces. So I used my 

Tim Holtz Elegant Flourishes die and some card candi to pretty it up

 And this is the finished card with everything attached and finished
